Why Use Pre-Employment Tests?
It has been estimated that more than 50 percent of people lie on their resumes. Your hiring managers need to know for certain if a candidate can actually do what they say they can do. This can be especially important in jobs where there is little or no training time available. Skills test may also be used to measure a current employee. Knowing the gap between an employee’s current capability and what’s required to do a job helps prioritize and target training and development investment.
AAIMCheck provides a suite of products to help you screen applicants for critical job-related skills, as well as basic work-related values such as work ethic, reliability, integrity, substance abuse, and theft.
Pre-Employment Skills Tests
These comprehensive assessments measure essential knowledge and skills. Performance-based testing which simulates popular software products, such as Microsoft Office, ensures accurate and reliable assessment of knowledge, skills and abilities. Our skills assessments cover but are not limited to: software skills, clerical skills, call center skills, accounting and finance, medical, nursing, legal, industrial, computer literacy, retail, food services, information technology, staffing and human resources.
How Do the Tests Work?
Our clients deliver Profiles Skills Tests to their candidates over the internet. The powerful test-management system allows a test administrator to control a multi-tier network of testing stations with the capability of controlling testing reporting and billing from a central location.
Step One Survey II®
The Step One Survey II (SOSII) is a brief pre-hire assessment that measures an individual’s basic work-related values and provides valid insight into an applicant’s work ethic, reliability, integrity, propensity for substance abuse and attitude toward theft—including property and data.
Why Assess Employees with SOSII?
It’s a startling fact—employee theft and fraud averages $9 a day per employee! That’s about $2,000 per employee subtracted from your bottom line every year. While all employees have opportunities to steal, an employer’s risk increases as people advance to upper levels of responsibility. High ranking executives have been known to embezzle tens of thousands—even millions of dollars. Could there be a better reason to hire people worthy of your trust? SOSII helps organizations reduce hiring risk in a quick and cost effective manner. It is a scientifically designed, and validated, assessment tool that helps answer these questions:
Can this applicant be trusted?
Is this applicant drug free?
Is this applicant dependable?
Will this applicant be a long-term, hard working employee?
The Profiles Assessment Center (PAC) is Profiles International’s state-of-the art assessment delivery system. It helps our clients effectively manage their assessment processes, schedule and deliver assessments to candidates and fully utilize assessment information for maximum results.
